Football victory against St Joseph’s

Harton’s 6th form football team have made it through to the final of the local league with a hard fought 4 - 3 victory against St Joseph’s. It was a good competitive game in windy conditions and both sets of players were a credit in the way they conducted themselves. Well done to all involved. Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Evening

For the first time in many years twenty four students were presented with their bronze certificate and badge at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award evening hosted at Harton. It was lovely to celebrate the students success in front of family members and staff and to see so many students complete the award. There are record numbers currently involved at all levels including gold and there will be many more in the near future who will also complete the award. There are currently over 60 students signed up for the bronze award in year 10 and they will be completing their two expeditions over the coming months in Northumberland. As it has been for man...
