Progression

Progression is at the centre of everything we do at Harton Sixth Form and it is integral in our facilities, our tutorial programme and the extensive support and guidance that we offer our students. Successful students tend to be those that have a clear focus and plan for the future and throughout the Harton Sixth Form experience we ensure that this is not just left to chance. In an increasingly competitive employment and Higher Education market it is vital that students have the necessary skills and qualities to be successful. We work closely with local businesses, universities, colleges and training providers to ensure that students receive relevant and realistic advice about the skills and qualifications required in the future. We have also provided details of additional websites (see below) that students could use in their research and planning. However, Harton Sixth Form does not necessarily endorse any of these particular websites. In addition, students have the opportunity, throughout their time at Harton Sixth Form, to book appointments with our own professionally qualified careers advisor or an independent careers advisor, if they would prefer.
