In 2018 – 84% progressed on to higher education.
At Harton we pride ourselves on offering support for students and helping them achieve what they aspire for in life and as has been the case since the 6th form opened a high percentage of students continue their studies in either in Further Education or for the vast majority Higher Education. Again this year a number of students were successful in gaining places on very competitive courses including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Midwifery and Engineering.
We are delighted that so many students aim high and 39% in 2018 progressed on to Russell Group (research led universities) significantly higher than the 11% average figure in the North East of England.
