Harton 6th Form is extremely proud to offer a wide range of high-quality academic and extra-curricular opportunities within our purpose-built 6th Form centre. Our teachers are friendly, approachable, and dedicated professionals who understand young people and are specialists in their subjects. We were delighted to receive an ‘Outstanding’ judgement from Ofsted in February 2024, but we remain committed to continuous improvement — always striving to deliver the very best education for our students.

Since opening in 2010, the 6th Form has built an excellent reputation for academic success. We are proud of our students’ achievements and of our inclusive ethos, which enables every student to flourish and progress onto positive destinations. From their individual starting points, students make impressive academic progress, and outcomes remain consistently strong. In 2024, 76% of Year 13 students progressed to Higher Education, although we anticipate this figure may fall slightly as more students pursue the growing number of higher-level apprenticeship opportunities available.

Life at Harton 6th Form is lively, engaging, and rewarding. It’s a popular choice for both current Harton students and those joining us from other schools — with 47% of our 2024 intake coming from elsewhere. We take pride in offering a warm welcome, a thorough induction programme, and continued support throughout your studies. Students are encouraged to develop independence, take responsibility for their learning, and make the most of a wide range of enrichment opportunities.
