New for 2018

Accessing GCSE Maths at Grade 1&2 for Students of Lower Ability

Aimed at secondary teachers of mathematics and classroom support assistants working with students of lower ability, this new course, developed by our Maths specialist will provide effective strategies for the delivery of more difficult concepts across a range of topics and resources to take back to the classroom. Comprises a series of 5 twilight sessions and commencing on the 20th June 2018, 4pm to 6pm.

Price £150 per delegate to include face to face sessions, resources and light buffet.


Primary Maths Support

Aimed at classroom based practitioners in year 5/6 Maths, this one day course developed by Mortimer Primary Teaching School; our associate teaching school, provides techniques and strategies to fill any skill gaps and improve confidence in supporting the Maths curriculum.

Physics Training for non-specialists

Funded by the National College for Teaching and Leadership, this programme established in 2016 and comprises of a series of 8 twilight sessions, aims to increase subject knowledge of secondary non specialist Physics teachers already teaching Physics and those who may wish to do so.  The programme provides bursaries and experiment kits to raise standards and achievements in Physics.

Maths Training for non-specialists

Funded by the National college for Teaching and Leadership, this programme established in 2016 and comprises of 6 twilights and will provide subject training for non-specialist teachers in Secondary Maths.  Bursaries of up to £200 are available to the participants.
