Dear parents/carers and students - I hope you all continue to be well and many thanks for your continued support and very positive comments and messages. The weekly update this week includes the detailed guidance from the DfE, which was published yesterday. We have started the planning process and will finalise our plans for September next week before consulting with staff, Governors, Unions and parents. We have had 13, 13, 13, 11 and 13 key worker and vulnerable children in attendance this week. Dear parents/carers and students I hope that you all continue to be well. The update for the week so far is as follows: Attendance of Key worker and Vulnerable children this week has, as expected, risen. We have had 12, 12, 8 and 14 so far. A range of subjects has been on offer, including English x 2, maths x 2, ICT x2, RE, geography, history and DT. We are preparing to have 3 teaching staff and 3 SSAs available from Monday 29th June as we anticipate even greater numbers in the final 3 weeks. Dear parents/carers and students – I hope you are all well. An early update this week as I thought you might be keen to hear how the provision for year 10 and 12 has gone. As expected, there has been an increased number of vulnerable and key worker children attending this week – 9, 10, 12 and 11 so far. The students have had Science x2, Art, History, DT, RE, PE and ICT with Music and Geography to come tomorrow. No maths or English this week as many of the staff have been teaching year 10 all week. Dear parents/carers and students I hope that you and your families are well and many thanks for the very supportive and positive messages. The usual weekly update is as follows: In anticipation of our return on Monday June 15th for year 10 and year 12 students, staff have attended one of the 10 briefing sessions with Mr Amos and I this week. Our latest Risk Assessment will be posted on the VLE later today. Dear parents/carers and students I hope you are all well. This week I intend to focus mainly on the detail of the imminent return of our year 10 and 12 students rather than the usual update. However, I wanted to begin by thanking a former student, Phil Stewart, who I taught maths to in the early 1990s, who very kindly donated a brand new laptop and software to one of our year 10 students.
