Making a Subject Access Request

Should you wish to make a Subject Access request, please print off and complete the form below:

Harton Academy Subject Access Application Form

It should be returned for the attention of the Headteacher and marked “Subject Access Request“.

The page “Your Information – Your Rights” sets out how we will respond to you.  Please be aware that we may need to contact you if all the information required to process your request is not provided.  The 30 day timescale for providing the information you request will only commence once we have sufficient information and authorisation to correctly undertake the search.

Please note :

  • There is usually no change for making a subject access request, however the Academy will reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee where a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or is being made repetitively.  Where a fee is levied, it will relate to the administrative costs of providing the information.
  • Further to this, the Academy reserves the right to refuse to provide information requested.  In the case of a refusal to provide information, we will write to you, to explain why we have done this, and to advise you of your right to complain to the Information Commissioner.
