Harton Academy continues to drive towards further inclusion within our school. Below are learning resources for parents/carers/guardians who have dependents within the LGBT+ community.
This video enables parents and carers to have a deeper understanding of how to support their LGBT+ child and where to access mental health support.
This workshop video helps demonstrate the challenges that children experience regarding LGBTphobia and delves deeper into different aspects of the community.

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity. It is dedicated to supporting parents and families and their LGBT+ members. FFLAG offers support to help parents and families understand, accept and support their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members with love and pride. FFLAG volunteers are parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans children supported by other volunteers.
