Bronte Trip

A visit to Howarth was undertaken by the Year 12 and Year 13 English Literature students in an endeavour to underpin Emily Bronte's 'Wuthering Heights'. The itinerary comprised of various lectures rooted in the importance of context and varied interpretations of the text; such components indicative of the outlined assessment objectives. A tour of the parsonage as well as insight given toward the lives of the Bronte family provided a unique and enriching insight into the lives of such inspirational writers.
