Lockdown 3 - Update for Parents and Carers

Dear parents/carers/students - I hope you are all well and looking forward to the staggered return to school of our wonderful students next week. Please note that students DO NOT need to wear uniform on the day of their first test but will do thereafter. I thought that I would update you on a few important items ahead of our return next week. Slum Project Competition

Students from Year 7 were invited to take part in a Geography competition which involved designing their own slum/shanty town. This complemented work they have been doing in the Africa topic during lockdown. The entries were fantastic! Over 50 students submitted an entry and were then asked to vote on their favourite ones. As you can see, we certainly have some very creative and imaginative students. Some were constructed out of cardboard, lego, cakes and other materials they could find.
