Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
We were very saddened to hear the dreadful news about our former student, colleague and friend of Harton who tragically passed away this week. Tom was a larger than life character and one of the most generous and helpful colleagues. He attended Harton as a boy, trained with us to become a teacher and then taught in the school for a number of years. Our thoughts go out to all of his family and friends at this awful time. Dear students, parents and carers I hope you and your loved ones are all keeping well during these difficult times. Many thanks to all of you for your continued support, understanding and kind messages. I thought you would appreciate a weekly update so here goes: We have had between 3 and 5 students in attendance each day this week – they have had a real variety of teaching and experiences throughout their time here so far. We will be open during the Easter Holidays for highly vulnerable children and the children of key workers only. Please do attempt to keep the children at home if possible....

Unfortunately due to the current situation the taster event has been cancelled. Summer tasks have been updated and will be available from Monday 6th April via the subject page of the website. These will form part of the enrolment process and need to be completed by the end of June. Dear Parents/Carers As you know we are making every effort to continue to supply appropriate work for students during these challenging and unprecedented times. Many subject leaders have set work through the department links on the school VLE. In addition to this, subject teachers are setting work using the assignments link. This arrangement should provide students with sufficient and varied tasks to maintain their focus whilst working from home.
