We will be having a non-uniform day on Friday 24 May, with a suggested donation of £1 per student. We will use this occasion to raise funds for the ‘Together Forever Trust’, set up in memory of Chloe Rutherford and Liam Curry, who were killed in the Manchester Arena Bombings on 22 May 2017. The theme for the non-uniform day will be the blue and pink colours associated with the Together Forever trust. Pupils are encouraged to wear something blue or pink, whatever is their choice. For sensible reasons, there will be no relaxation of the school rule regarding the wearing of jewellery and we ask parents to ensure that non-uniform wear ...

Well done to the twenty five year 10 students that completed the qualifying expedition of the bronze award. The group the previous weekend completed a practice expedition in Northumberland and then went to Teesdale where they walked for two full days and camped in very cold conditions. All of the students impressed in demonstrated a range of key skills and qualities such as teamwork, decision making , leadership and resilience. The final day was glorious in terms of the weather and they got to walk along the river Tees and see stunning Low and High Force and scramble up the side of another waterfall near to the Cow Green reservoir. The 6th form football team has again had a very successful season in winning the northern league and making it to the final which was played at Durham University. Unfortunately they lost out to a strong St Robert's team but all the players did themselves proud in the way that they organised and conducted themselves under the guidance of Mr Green. We are very proud of their efforts and hopefully the younger members of the team can now take on the mantle and keep the momentum and build on this success next season. ...
