Dear Parents, Carers and Students COVID-19 Update - June 2021 I am sure you will already be aware that a COVID-19 variant of concern (the ‘Delta’ or ‘Indian’ variant) has been confirmed within our region. Although this variant does not appear to cause more severe illness than other strains, we are advised that it does transmit more easily than other variants circulating in the UK. Highfield Road/Cheviot Road Crossing Patrol Unavailable

We have been informed by the Road Safety Co-ordinator from the Town Hall & Civic offices, that the school crossing patrol who operates on Highfield Road/Cheviot Road will not be on duty on Wednesday 9th June at the end of the day session. This patrol is a mobile patrol covering this vacant point, so there are no further replacements available....

Delayed Food Pod Opening

Dear Parents/Carers Disappointingly, the planned opening of our new ‘Food Pod’ (Monday 7th June) has to be delayed; all pupils will be informed of this by teaching staff. Our construction company has encountered a number of problems sourcing some essential materials, which are required in order to complete the building of this new facility in line with health and safety requirements.
