Media Studies helps pupils make sense of this world, become discerning consumers, and be prepared not just for a career in the media, but for a growing variety of careers that require critical and analytical skill or media literacy.

What will the subject include?
The A level units combine practical work with theory and examine aspects of print and audio-visual media. Students will utilise new facilities to create their own media productions.
Topics include: Television, Radio, Film, Music, Newspaper, Magazine (including comics), Advertising, Computer Games, DVD covers, Websites.
