Josh Denholm, a Year 13 Student has just successfully returned from competing in Dubai with Swim England.

Josh was part of a 75 strong team of international level athletes. Representing Team England, Josh raced at the Middle East Open and Junior Championships 2023, alongside some Olympic standard athletes. Team England came away from this meet as the top visiting club with the best performing athletes, a prestigious honour. They also collected over 50 medals, really demonstrating the strength of the team. Josh managed to final in every event he competed in, and placed 4th in the 1500 Freestyle, narrowly missing out on the podium. Here at Harton Academy, we continue to be very proud of everything Josh achieves in Swimming. He continues to compete at the highest level alongside studying three very demanding A Levels. Well done Josh!
