For any students that have applied and are involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme they must select this enrichment activity if they have not already completed the Bronze level of the award. Students will be taught the basics of map reading and camp craft as practically as possible so that they are ready and fully prepared for expedition section of the award. The Duke of Edinburgh Award will be advertised early in the academic year and additional details will be issued to students. The Award is incredibly well thought of by future employers who all recognise the level of commitment that is necessary to successfully complete the award.
