The weather was fabulous and so were the twenty Year 10 students that completed their qualifying expedition in Teesdale at the weekend.

They started at Bowlees visitor centre and then over two days, walked 19 miles to finish at Cow Green resevoir. They all demonstrated good navigation, campcraft skills, teamwork, decision making, resilience, leadership and communication. All the staff that were involved in supporting their training, practice walk and this expedition were very impressed and proud of their efforts. Well done and let’s see who now fancies the challenge of Silver!!!
