Massive well done to Kirsty in year 13 on receiving her Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at Buckingham Palace.

Kirsty is the first of this year’s group to complete all the sections and hopefully this will inspire the others to complete their award. The gold level is certainly incredibly challenging and it was lovely to see Kirsty develop and refine so many key skills and qualities. We have record numbers currently signed up for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme which is great to see and hopefully many will follow in Kirsty’s footsteps and make it all the way to the palace.
