Harvest Festival 2023
This morning the school has continued its tradition of harvest festival assemblies and donating food parcels to charities.
We held a series of assemblies in our main hall involving all year groups. Sixth Form students assisted with the preparation of the assemblies and invited members of the local community to join us. We were delighted to welcome once again our guests from Cheviot Court Care Home.
Visitors from Hebburn Helps and Hospitality and Hope, two local food bank operators, also joined us. After the Harvest Festival assemblies, our guests joined us for tea, coffee and cakes.
The response of our staff, students and their families to the appeal for Harvest Festival produce was phenomenal as usual. Sixth Form students packed up and delivered well over 100 food parcels, which we have shared between the local community and local food banks.
Thanks must go to all our staff and students, and to those in our community who have made, and continue to make, such profound differences to the lives of so many local people.
