Scholastic Book Fair: 21 March to 2 April

From Friday 21st March until Wednesday 2nd April, Harton Academy will be hosting a Scholastic Book fair, held in the Library.

Students will have the opportunity to browse the book stands towards the end of their library lesson. If there is a book they wish to buy, then can take a “Wishlist” home with the book written on that they wish to buy. All purchases should be made at home by scanning the QR code on the wish list or by visiting www.bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/pay and simply selecting Harton Academy from the drop down menu.

World book day vouchers have already been handed out in the library, the £1 WBD voucher can be redeemed against your purchase. At the time of purchase you will be given a code, this code along with a World book day voucher should then be handed into Mrs Connolly and then the book will be issued to the student.

If you haven’t already got a World book day voucher then please do collect one from the library.

Scholastic is one of the largest providers of free books to school via their rewards scheme which helps to ensure that as many children as possible have access to books that support reading for pleasure. Every time you buy a book from the Book Fair, you help to make a difference by supporting literacy in your child’s setting. Last year with your help, Scholastic gave £5.3m worth of free books to schools nationwide.
