Massive well done to the 28 year 11,12 and 13 students that successfully completed their silver Duke of Edinburgh’s qualifying expedition in the Yorkshire Dales. They walked over 30 miles over the 3 days and demonstrated and developed a wide range of key skills such as teamwork, decision making, problem solving and leadership alongside bucket loads of determination and resilience. The students were a credit to the school and impressed the staff with how they completed the challenge. Many thanks to the Mrs Northen, Mrs Derbyshire, Ms Watson and Mrs Burroughs for giving generously of their time to make this possible.
