Slum Project Competition

Students from Year 7 were invited to take part in a Geography competition which involved designing their own slum/shanty town. This complemented work they have been doing in the Africa topic during lockdown. The entries were fantastic! Over 50 students submitted an entry and were then asked to vote on their favourite ones. As you can see, we certainly have some very creative and imaginative students. Some were constructed out of cardboard, lego, cakes and other materials they could find. One student even constructed one in his back garden! We hope you enjoy looking at the winning entries! Congratulations to all of the students who took part!
