We are delighted to hear that one of our former students Scott Morrow has just received his Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at Buckingham Palace.

Scott was one of four Harton students to receive the award at this ceremony and there will be others that will soon also complete the final parts and gain their certificate and badge too. We are all very proud of his achievement as the Gold level is incredibly challenging as you also need to complete a residential section on top of the other four sections. For this part of the award, Scott and a few others completed a winter skills course in the Cairngorm mountains which has further enhanced his love of walking and climbing. He is currently studying Chemistry at Glasgow University and regularly clocking off Monroes whenever he can.
