Re: Year 10 Parents’ Evening Tuesday 1 April 2025 – 3.15pm to 5.45pm

I would like to extend to you a warm invitation to visit the school for the Year 10 Parents’ Evening.

If you would like to attend, please ask your child to arrange appointment times for you with subject staff who will be available from 3:15–5.45 pm. Pupils will be issued with cards on which to record their appointment times, after consultation with parents and subject teachers. Please ensure that appointment times made are acceptable to you.

We will use both of our main buildings for the parents’ evening. Design Technology, Science and Maths staff will be based in the Technology Building. All other subjects will be hosted in the main hall of the 1936 Building. The split arrangement will have implications for students as they arrange their appointments. To avoid having to repeatedly change buildings, the subject appointments should be grouped together accordingly.

Appointments will be available at five-minute intervals. If you anticipate needing more time please do not hesitate to contact the school to speak to the appropriate member of staff.  We are required to keep a register of attendance – could you please sign the registers when you enter the main reception.

May we remind you that it is the responsibility of the parent to keep the school informed of any changes to contact and medical details for your child.
