Twenty-eight Year 12 students visited York St John University in the historic city of York and had a great time.

The university’s beautiful campus, located just outside the city walls, provided the students with valuable insight into university life away from home. During their visit, they toured the campus, attended a finance talk, and had the opportunity to ask former graduates questions, which left them all very impressed.

Following the campus visit, the students had a couple of hours to explore the city, including the incredible York Minster and various street performers. On the way home, they drove through the University of Leeds campus, situated on the outskirts of York, giving them a glimpse of another university that is very different in size and location.
