Theatre Trip Goes Ahead Without “Incident”
The English department arranged a trip for some Year 9 and 10 pupils to see a performance of the Olivier Award winning play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal.
It was a leap of faith for parents to commit to this in the times of isolation, frequent testing and theatre closures and we’re so grateful and relieved that things went without a hitch.
Each pupil – without exception – was immaculately behaved throughout and a credit to the school. During lunch, pupils entertained themselves by having their pictures taken outside of the Theatre Royal- although, as the images show, some posed more enthusiastically than others.
