Harton Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our thriving secondary school community, working across KS3 and KS4. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with students, support their progress, and contribute to a safe and purposeful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish positive rapport with students, set clear expectations, and uphold high standards of behaviour in line with school policies.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons, guiding students through set tasks and ensuring lesson objectives are achieved.
• Support and monitor students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs, helping them remain engaged and on track.
• Manage essential classroom administration, including taking registers, collecting work, and communicating effectively with teaching staff and school leaders.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed.
