A flag designed by Joe Hartley has been taken to and photographed at Novolazarevskaya research station, Antarctica. He won a competition which was run by UK Polar Network, whose aim is to create an awareness of why it is important for us to protect one of the Earth’s last natural wildernesses. We had some inspired entries by Geographers from Years 7 to 10, who designed some superb flags!
