This week, students from the Key Stage 4 Life and Employability programme attended Resources North East.

They took part in bricklaying, joinery and painting and decorating and were an absolute credit to the school! They also met a previous student from Harton Academy, who is now training to be one of the trainers at Resources North East.

Resources North East provides a Study Programme for young people after Year 11. It offers hands-on experience with a recognised qualification on completion of the training. Training includes Occupational Skills, Employability Skills and Functional Skills, where needed. On completion of the Study Programme, learners can progress onto a Traineeship Programme or directly into an Apprenticeship.
