Well done to the 31 year 12 students have just completed the expedition section of the silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The weather was very kind and even too hot in the Yorkshire Dales where the groups started near Tan hill and walked down Swaledale to finish near to Reeth. All the students did themselves proud in facing all the demands and challenges over the 3 days and it a pleasure to see them show and develop many key skills and qualities such as perseverance, teamwork, leadership, decision making and resilience.

A few have already enquired about taking on Gold and many will be doing this as part of the team that will be heading on the Morocco expedition in 2023.
